Xiong Qian

Xiong Qian, Master, Lecturer, Teacher in the Arabic Language Department of the Faculty of Asian Languages and Cultures.

Xiong obtained her bachelor degree in Arabic from Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) in 2010. During her master degree in Arabic in BFSU between 2011 and 2014, she led a team of exchange students to Pharos University in Alexandria and studied there for four months. In May 2014, she finished her master dissertation on Muslim Brotherhood Emblem, obtained her master degree in Arabic, and granted the excellent graduate student of BFSU prize. She started teaching in the Arabic Language Department of GDUFS in July 2014.

Research Orientation: Middle-east Issues, Migrant Issues, Cross Cultural Communication Issues.

Achievement:

1. Journal Article The Yacoubian BuildingA Work that Examines Egypt; The Advantages, Shortcomings and References in the Political Integration of Muslim Brotherhood Emblem in Egypt; Opinions on the Reform for Higher-education Minority Language Education Based on the Comparison between Chinese and Arabic Proverbs. (All of the Three were Completed Independently)

2. Pending Work The United Arab Emirates part of The 21st Century Maritime Silk Roadthe Investment Environment and Capacity Cooperation in Countries along the Road Book Series. (Xiong is the second author of this part.)
