On November 29th, Seminar on Entry of Chinese Educational Equipment and Huibei Folk Songs into Africa was held in Room 402, MBA Education Center, GDUFS. Attending the seminar were Adam Yousif, Consul General of Consulate General of the Republic of Sudan in Guangzhou, Kadidiatou KONATE, counselor of Consulate General of the Republic of Mali in Guangzhou, Tesfaye Messele, consul of Consulate General of Ethiopia in Guangzhou, Rougui Mbaye, deputy consul of Consulate General of Senegal in Guangzhou, Angel Lwatula, trade consul of Consulate General of the Republic of Zambia in Guangzhou, authority of Hubei Provincial Educational Equipment Association, authority of Guangdong Provincial Educational Equipment Association, authority of Shenzhen Municipal Educational Equipment Association, authority of Jiangsu Provincial Educational Equipment Association, authority of Fujian Provincial Educational Equipment Association, authority of Hubei Musician Association, authority of Jingzhou Municipal Cultural Bureau, authority of Huanggang Municipal Cultural Bureau. Prof. Liu Jisen, Executive President of IAS, GDUFS, and director of Research Center for International Economic and Trade, hosted the seminar.
On the opening ceremony, consul generals and consuls from four African countries delivered speeches and appreciated the entry of Chinese educational equipment and Huibei folk songs into Africa. They thought that eight major initiatives put forward by President Xi played an important role in industrial promotion and cultural exchange.
During the discussion, authority of Hubei Provincial Educational Equipment Association, authority of Guangdong Provincial Educational Equipment Association, authority of Shenzhen Municipal Educational Equipment Association, authority of Jiangsu Provincial Educational Equipment Association and authority of Fujian Provincial Educational Equipment Association made an introduction to the historical development and current situation of provincial educational equipment. Authority of Hubei Musician Association thought that the entry of Huibei folk songs into Africa would promote cultural exchange. Authority of Jingzhou Municipal Cultural Bureau and authority of Huanggang Municipal Cultural Bureau introduced the current situation of folk song tour.

Agreements have been reached as follows: (1) To establish relationship through cultural exchange and promote cooperation in economic and trade. Provincial Educational Equipment Associations are encouraged to raise research funds and entrust IAS to undertake research on the demand for educational equipment in major African countries so as to meet the African demand according to research reports. (2) To have a knowledge of Africa. Enterprises and culture delegations can have a knowledge of Africa by means of field trips organized by IAS, GDUFS. (3) To promote educational equipment to go global. The Exhibition of Chinese Educational Equipment for Tanzania will be held in the second half of 2019. (4) To hold cultural performance tour. Hubei folk song performance tour is supposed to be held in Tanzania and South Africa.
