On July 26th, China-Africa Cooperation Symposium was held in the meeting room, Africa Guangdong Business Association (AGBA). It was co-hosted by the Guangdong Branch of the Xinhua News Agency, Institute for African Studies (IAS) of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), and Africa Guangdong Business Association (AGBA). Attending the symposium were Wang Pan, Ren Baojie and Lin Junqiang, one deputy editor-in-chief and two deputy directors of the Guangdong Branch of the Xinhua News Agency, Liu Jisen, Executive President of IAS, GDUFS, Huo Jiangtao, Vice President of AGBA, Liu Yuzhen, researcher of International Center for Migration Studies, GDUFS, Wang Yiqian, Director of Institute of Education for International Students, GDUFS, and other representatives from GDUFS. Liu Jisen hosted the symposium.
Attendees exchanged their ideas on immigration policy, international public opinion, foreign-related law, management of overseas students, trade and investment in Africa, etc.
