On July 5th and July 6th, Fu Lang, President of Institute for African Studies (IAS) and Executive Vice-President of Guangdong Public Diplomacy Association, was invited to give a lecture on "public diplomacy and cultural exchange" in Shaoguan. Fu Lang led three standing directors to launch an investigation into Public Diplomacy Association of Shaoguan City.
Fu Lang pointed out that Public Diplomacy Association of Shaoguan City should take full use of human resources and Zen culture to adapt to national overall diplomatic layout and create a distinctive brand. More than 50 people attended the lecture.
Wang Qingxi, chairman of Shaoguan city CPPCC, Lan Yin, deputy chairman of Shaoguan city CPPCC, and Lin Jia, member of Shaoguan city CPPCC, accompanied President Fu Lang during the investigation.
