IAS Researchers Pay A Visit to South Korea

On November 19th to 23rd, Prof. Wang Rongzhen and Dr. Ji Fei, senior researchers of IAS, GDUFS, were invited to attend Fourth Forum of China-South Korea Public Diplomacy and the unveiling ceremony of bronze statue of An Jung-geun. This visit was supported by The Charhar Institute.

On November 21st, Fourth Forum of China-South Korea Public Diplomacy was held in National Assembly Building, South Korea, with the topic of "a Northeast Asian community of common destiny and the spirit of An Jung-geun". Attending the forum were Han Fangming, deputy director of Foreign Affair Office of CPPCC, Moon Hee-sang, the head of South Korean Parliament, Mayor An Binglong, authority of Chinese and South Korean governments, scholars, entrepreneurs, etc.

Moon Hee-sang delivered a keynote speech.

On November 20th and November 22nd, Prof. Wang Rongzhen and Dr. Ji Fei were invited to attend the sculptor display and unveiling ceremony of bronze statue of An Jung-geun.

Senior researchers' visit to South Korea enhances communications with domestic and overseas institutes and contributes to the development of China-South Korean relation. It's said that South Korean mainstream media also reported the event in details.
